What are some good Sega Saturn games?
Picrel is the only one I have but I have been enjoying it.

I am assuming you want exclusives and not games that are also on PS1/N64/PC(at least on PC back then)

NiGHTS
Burning Rangers
Panzer Dragoon
Panzer Dragoon 2
Panzer Dragoon Saga
Bulk Slash (has an english patch)
Astal
Game Tengoku - The Game Paradise
Linkle Liver Story (has an english patch)
Magic Knight Rayearth
Princess Crown
Saturn Bomberman
Radiant Silvergun

Do not start with shmups

Play anything by SEGA and Capcom. Then maybe some Konami stuff if you want to get into the Japanese side.

Sonic 3D Blast
NiGHTS Into Dreams
Sonic R
Virtual-On
Pandemonium
Mega Man X4
Die Hard Arcade
Street Fighter Collection
SEGA Ages
Marvel Super Heroes
Guardian Heroes

Most people like the Daytona games and SEGA Rally. Some people like Virtua Fighter 2, personally I prefer Fighting Vipers and Fighters Megamix, maybe Last Bronx. Manx TT is alright but there's only like one course.

The only shmups really worth trying imo are the Konami shmups, Hyper Duel, and Radiant Silvergun. Not even a fan of Silvergun personally but it is an exclusive and generally held in high regard. The reason I say don't start with shmups is you will get bored very quickly, there are a lot of them but they're not all necessarily great or even good (especially if you prefer the older Genesis/TG-16 style)

This is a good list. Magic Knight Rayearth is especially worth checking out

Just going to add this, most people compare Saturn to PS1 because they share a lot of the same games, which is fine. But personally I find it's a bit closer to the N64 which was known primarily for its first party titles. You will see videos and wiki pages with every Saturn game making it look like there are over a thousand games on it, but its library is deceptively small, as it only got about 258 games in the US, and many of those Japanese exclusives are just VN's, mahjong games, CGI collections etc. There are a few gems, but like the N64, the meat of it is the first party titles.

Burning Rangers is very good, I definitely recommend checking it out. It's on the shorter side, unfortunately. It's a must-play for the system.

Virtual On is a must-own. Great game, nothing else to say really.

Rockman 8 is fantastic. The Saturn version is actually the base game and the PS1 version is a port. That being said, the Saturn version has some exclusive content that's not in the PS1 version. If you're a fan of the series you will appreciate this extra content.

Sakura Taisen is great but it's not for everyone. There is also a Sequel. Alternatively, the first two games were also ported to the Dreamcast, and 3 and 4 are Dreamcast games.

Snatcher and Policenauts are on Saturn. Imo these are the optimal versions of those two games.

It goes without saying that NiGHTS is a must-own for the system. I recommend picking up the 3D controller for this game. It's a fun arcade-y title. There is also a Christmas special disk which has some extra content like a Sonic mode. I recommend tracking down the Christmas disc if you enjoy the game.

Tokimeki Memorial is a great game. This is a port, as the game was originally in the PC Engine, but the Saturn version is the optimal version of the game which has extra content which is not in any other versions of the game.

Grandia is a great RPG. There is a port to the PS1, but the Saturn version is the ideal version of the game and it was built for the Saturn.

Godzilla Rettoushinkan is like Advance Wars but you fight against Godzilla and other Kaiju from the series. The scenarios are based around scenes and events from the movies, and the game uses footage from the movies as cutscenes. Very fun game, absolutely worth checking out if you're also a fan of the fantastic Game Gear Godzilla game or if you just like this style of game.

Sonic Jam is source ports of the classic Sonic games with some improvements, and includes a 3D hub world which is full of soul.

Sonic R is a fun racing game.

Panzer Dragoon is alright.

Zanma Chou Ougi and Dragon Force II. There's also Shining Force III, which you can play the entire game instead of just Scenario 1. I like Bulk Slash.

If you want to get into untranslated stuff, Wachenroder, Princess Crown, Ginga Oujousama 3, Farland Saga, AnEarth Fantasy, Ronde, Terra Phantastica.
Saturn has a ton of good or interesting tactical RPGs that never got translated.
Deep Fear is like underwater Resident Evil.
Soeldnerschild and Advanced World War are strategy games.

The Konami shmups are legitimately great. I don't know why people are suddenly saying they're bad, oh that's right this is a Saturn thread.

I think it's a very novel game with lovely visuals that is worth enjoying for that reason alone but not a very well made shooter. Play it for the spectacle and the lovely tribute to gaming as a whole.

Just a shame that nobody ever translated the PS1 sequel nor gave it a modern re-release like that first one did. (Also a shame that the modern re-release did not include the contents of that VHS)

Every game posted here is trash.

Everyone knows the best game not just on the Saturn, but of all time is Funky Fantasy.

Look at this intro and tell me this doesn't look like the greatest game ever made.
