The shmups are pretty good imo. Snatcher and the Lunar games are also generally well-liked, as well as Cobra: The Space Adventure (adventure game similar to Snatcher), Mickey Mania and Earthworm Jim. I personally also really like The Terminator, Starblade, and Road Rash. There's plenty more than just FMV games. Genesis ports are also not a bad thing, that's the entire point, it's like regular Genesis but better.

I feel like way too many people lump the SEGA CD together with the 32X. They're really not the same, neither of them are bad imo, but the SEGA CD had significantly more (and arguably better) games

Well yeah. It gets a lot of crap because of the AVGN video and people confusing it with the 32X and 3DO (which are also not that bad), but it has plenty of solid titles. I prefer it over Saturn, so much so that I downloaded the entire English-friendly rom set for it. Plenty of great games on it, I don't understand why people skip straight to Saturn when CD has more of what made the Genesis great to begin with.

Wish people would realize it's more than just Night Trap and Sewer Shark. Some titles feel like early PS1 games (especially games like Lunar and Mickey Mania that eventually did get a PS1 port)
