What are your favorite /vr/ odds and ends? Keychains, gashapon toys, candies, etc. I bought a neat Game Boy candy tin recently and lately I've been enjoying these Ocean Bomb Street Fighter sparkling tea drinks, though they're a little sweet for me. I had a really neat PS1 keychain for a while as well but the chain fell apart so now it just sits in my desk. What fun /vr/ trinkets do (You) own?

This thread just reminded me that this Spot figure from the late 80's exists and I kind of wanted one

Not official or anything but I've always wanted to get one of these Honda City choro-Q cars and customize it to look like the one from City Connection

As a kid, I loved everything Pokemon and collected all the shit I've could get my hands on. Stickers, pogs, badges, calendars, etc.
But especially trading cards.
I've never had any official ones as a kid but still enjoyed collecting whatever was available.

> tfw when started hunting down some weird-ass cards with then-unknown 2nd gen just to learn new pokemon and fill in your head pokedex
> years later learned that pokemon pictures for these cards were stolen from some freelance artist who uploaded them to his Deviantart like eons ago
> have to thank him yet for accidentally making your childhood

Wrong board, people here want to talk about digital video games, not children's physical playthings.

>unofficial Pokémon cards
I never knew these were a thing. I had a fuckton of Japanese cards as a kid. No clue what they said, but they seemed so much cooler than their English counterparts, not to mention getting cards ages before their English releases.

Believe me, there were lots of them. Some cards were copied from official TCG sets I think. I've collected that stuff meticulously but even I can't probably comprehend the amount of bootlegs that were manufactured during the peak of pokemon craze in 3rd world.

Gum stickers were also wild.

> buying a gum that clearly says "Pokemon" on it
> get a tattoo of a digimon inside

I have this Sega coin bank that released around the same time as the Astro City mini. It's supposed to be a cardboard box and when you put a coin on the tray it will play the insert coin sound from a random game on the Astro City mini (it cycles between all of them), and then begins playing music from that game while the bear from Altered Beast lifts his head up and opens the lid of the box, and then Opa Opa from Fantasy Zone comes out and grabs the coin and pulls it inside.

I have other toys and stuff but this is my favorite.

I have a lot of random things that I've amassed over the years. Here's a Paratroopa toy and a Diddy Kong keychain which happened to be nearby.
