Yes, you can emulate all the games, but I mean I want a port that actually has things like online play etc (particularly for fighting games).
VF2 on PS3/360 was an excellent port, but I wish they ported it to PC so it was actually accessible without buying old hardware.
I'm sure the Astro City Mini is a good piece of kit, but I'd be much happier if they eventually released all those games digitally on PC/Consoles so you don't need to buy the specific hardware if you want the collection.

I remember when it first came out it was getting praise, then I realised it was just twitter and reddit praising it. I then heard that they had a big gay sex scene for Alucard and that the Belmonts hate god and the church or some shit and I decided I'll never watch it.

Saturn having no proper Sonic game or other Genesis IP's is definitely a monkey paw for me. It's a good system but it doesn't even feel like a Genesis successor to me. Others would be stuff like Banjo-Threeie coming in the form of Nuts and Bolts, not being able to explore the castle in Mario Galaxy, not being able to actually ride Yoshi in Mario 64, the ice key and Stop and Swop eggs in B-K being effectively useless since it was never fully realized, no Grunty's Lair Banjo-Tooie, not being able to play as Metal Mario and other characters in Smash Bros. (fixed in Melee and later entries, sort of), and Zero having limited functionality for some reason in Mega Man X3

Thankfully there are alternative projects:

DNF 2001 Director's Cut [https://www.moddb.com/mods/dnfdx] that is intent on keeping everything the way it was supposed to be in the 2001 leak. Unfortunatelly they haven't realesed any files yet, the mod is being worked on by only 3 people.

There's also DNF 2011 Enhanced Edition which aims to fix the godawful 2011 game.
