the level of detail and care put into this is astounding. plays better than tie fighter or rogue squadron. pure bliss

It's one of the best space combat games of the gen, yeah. Too bad the second game gets annoying halfway through and the third game sucks.

All I remember is the game over screen. They really punished you if you fucked up and hit too many friendlies. You didn't just game over, you got your character sent to the mines, where he toiled until he died of exhaustion.
