Those first two beefs of yours are not nearly as big a problem as you might think. With PS2 maybe, and GC isn't supported just yet but will be. With rom hashes, I mean, Roms megathread has literally every version of every game ever with high download speeds... or if you use Vimm's, I'd say 90% of the time the rom is compatible without swapping off of the default rom download. Hardcore doesn't block emulator-pausing. That can be used to make a game easier whenever it doesn't normally allow you to pause. But it is pointless, you should just switch to softcore instead.

There are some standalone emulators that support RA for nes, snes, n64, genesis, ps1, ps2, pc engine, gb gbc and gba.

Iirc they've discarded RAGens to keep shilling RetroArch, so the only other way to play Genesis games with cheevs is to use other multi-emulator like RALibRetro.
Which kinda sucks, but I guess other players are more than happy to have everything in one launcher.

Top 25%. I mostly use it to track what which games I've beaten and what I did in them (100%, hard mode etc).

I used it on and off while playing through Pokemon from gen 1 to gen 3 but they kept adding new achievements to games I already 100% which annoyed me to the point I just have up
