This shit in Croc - Legend of the Gobbos.
Here a 8 blocks. You can only destroy one and you have to destroy the one with the Gobbo inside. There are no hints whatsoever about which one is correct and if you destroy the wrong one you will have to replay the whole level.
What were they thinking?

Literally, unironically a skill issue. You stand near the edge of the box, stomp while making sure not to hold the button on the second press, press forward to grab the edge of the next box, pull yourself up and repeat. Stop being bad at games.

Game is pure jank shit to begin with, pitched as a yoshi game but turned down for obvious reasons.
Didnt stop them from releasing it anyway only to make children cry once they popped that cd in their ps1/saturn and realised what a massive turd they got for christmas.

Nostalgia is the only reason people still talk about this bullshit excuse for a game

I recorded it yesterday when i saw this thread after two of my replies were ignored. I have a 45% completed save so I loaded it up and went back to 1-4. The fag insisting I'm the OP is actually the OP damage controlling after being BTFO. He's a dedicated croc hater (those actually exist.) They're mad n64 fans who picked Croc as a game to be jealous over instead of anything else.

I think it stems back to a thread about Croc having the first modern dual stick implementation like 5 years ago. So they've been mad for 5 years. It's Croc kids, don't get obsessed over it. The best thing about it is it's a straight forward platformer with minimal bloat and nice music, it's not a great game by any measurement.

Yep. Here's how OP got owned for the wannabe Croc chads: Holding X on the ground pound pushes you through everything below you, while just pressing it and letting go has you hover over whatever you break, letting you readjust without falling accordingly if necessary. For all of the game's inherent issues, I can appreciate Argonaut trying their best to make it work anyway. It's the best execution of tank controls in any platformer, and I personally like how intricate the air control is for tighter platforming.
