Lol. Welcome to /vr/ OP. If you like Silent Hill you might also enjoy the Resident Evil and Parasite Eve games, or Dino Crisis. The first D game is also on PS1. There's also Konami's other very popular game on PS1, Metal Gear Solid. It's less survival horror and more stealth action.

For me, growing up I played a lot of Crash Bandicoot, Mega Man X4/X5, and the Tony Hawk games, as well as some other western titles like Need for Speed III and Powerboat Racing. The PS1 library is nearly endless, you can't really go wrong with any game.

i had never touched a Klonoa game before. I tried the recent remake and it was mediocre. I decided to try this and it was waaay better. Idk what devs are smoking nowadays. Sad I missed out on the PS1/PS2 as a kid but there are so many great games I get to experience now, which is refreshing in such a stagnant industry.

What's the differences between the remake and the original? I played the remake and thought it was a mediocre platformer. Some neat bosses, but nothing too challenging. It would be the sort of game you give to kids to ease into video games. Hell, I was underwhelmed by Spyro as well and lucky for me I collected enough to almost skip two whole worlds and get to the final boss. Crash Bandicoot was pretty good on the other hand.

Everyone always says Metal Gear Solid but I don't really like it. I do like Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions though. It's less cinematic and more fun.

for me it's Ape Escape, Crash Team Racing, Metal Gear Solid, Digimon World. I've always had those on a computer since 2008
