Sonic turns really nicely, his acceleration is really satisfying, jumping feels great, and the levels are spacious and filled with plenty of clever opportunities to utilise the physics.

I never noticed the ports controlling badly. I haven't come across glitches in these ports either, but I admit that might be because I played the Dreamcast version to death and so might approach the game in a way that happens to avoid DX-specific glitches

I recently played through the original on Sonic's levels and I have to say that it is a buggy mess. The movement gets screwed up every time the camera angle changes because the devs didn't compensate for it. The collision is buggy in some places so you get hung up on objects in unexpected places. Great aesthetics though
