This game is a little more generic than I remembered. It's also a bit better than I remembered. It doesn't have much in the way of mind-blowing set pieces like Ocarina of Time have, but it does have far better pacing than OoT does.

LttP honestly blows. Capcom zelda games blow it out of the water, I'm not even trying to be contrarian. The music is horrible and repetitive, the sword swing sucks ass and Link has pink hair. Bad game

I really loved ALttP as a kid but I've been replaying it recently after replaying LA/OoS/OoA and it honestly sucks ass compared to those. The sword swing in ALttP really does suck some fucking dick. I think this game is honestly one of the few games where I can say nostalgia really impacted how I felt about it prior to playing it again recently.

Nah. OoT actually has a plot and stuff that happens. ALttP once you reach the Dark World is nonstop dungeons with virtually nothing in-between, so you don't get to do much in the overworld nor experience any real plot. It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't use the same music for every damn dungeon.

I didn't like it as a kid and tried replaying as an adult. It started strong but then became boring when it was a dungeon crawl in the Dark World. I was surprised by how cramped the overworld is. I know Ocarina of Time borrowed a lot but one thing that game did have is actual settlements with people to talk to, while LttP only has a tiny generic village.

Why do you want plot so much? Zelda is about exploration and puzzle-solving, and sometimes also swordfighting.
