Persona, I like the themes, characters, story but the gameplay in the original game is just bad.
Valis, supposedly the original release on the PC-88 was horrible.

Original Puyo Puyo (and by extension Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine and Kirby’s Avalanche/Ghost Trap) is kinda rough. The basic puzzle mechanic is there but it doesn’t have the offset mechanic that every game afterwards has so matches basically boil down to whoever gets the first 5-chain wins, which is extremely easy to do with even a little practice.
