Is a remaster of this trilogy even feasible?

>inb4 "ps3 not retro"

Seems like a licensing nightmare. You're in Goldeneye territory.

The PS2/Wii/PSP version of Spider-Man 3's actually better than the PS3/360/PC version.

No. I don't even know how it works but doesn't Sony own the game rights to Spidey, but Activision owns the games themselves since they made them? So you'd need Sony and Activision to work together, and give the whole debacle at the moment with the Microsoft buyout I don't think that will happen. I'd imagine there's some fuckery with Tobey, Willem etc.'s voices too. And I'm not sure how it works but even if they don't have to I'd say they'd have to play nice with Marvel too.

From what I understand, it's a case-by-case basis: On one hand there's PS4 Spider-Man and Spidey exclusive content in Avengers, but then there's the Spider-Man characters in Ultimate Alliance 3 despite that being Switch exclusive.
But yeah, there's Activision, the movie cast, etc along with the question of if Marvel would even consider it worth it to re-release those games. Licensed games were likely seen as disposable until recently, especially when you consider the amount of Spider-Man games there are.

Sucks that is very unlikely for Spider-Man 2 to ever get a re-release
