Is out there some kind anon who owns the PS1 version of Time Gal and Ninja Hayate? I've looking for a decent dump for the game but I only get bad dumps. The game freezes when I lose all the lives.

Can this kind anon rip the isos from this 2 games and share it with the world? That would be awesome!

Also, Old Interactive Movies general.

The Sega CD version is awful. The PS1 version is the only decent port from the LaserActive game.

The LaserActive emulator (Daphne) didn't support Time Gal.

So does the PS1 version have a translation patch out?

I think there's no need for a translation, the game is all in english. Only the voices are in japanese.

Have you considered the possibility that it's NOT a bad dump and rather your freezing stemming from an emulation error?

Have you tried running the game through a more accurate emulator?

I'm not one of those faggots who push for everyone to use accurate emulators, since I use "whatever werks", like ZSNES, but if you're having trouble getting the game to run, maybe you should consider giving accurate emulators a chance.

OP here.

I will try another emulator. Any other good PS1 emulator, like PSX (I use this one)

The Saturn version is good too, but I have a shitty PC and I can't emulate Saturn games...

This is why I'm looking for a modded Saturn, but here in my country, finding a Saturn is like finding the Nintendo World Championship in a flea market per 5 dollares...

I've got a copy of the PS1 Time Gal and Ninja Hayate but unfortunately it's back home in storage. One of my favorite PS1 imports and worth owning, although it's getting pretty expensive these days (up to $100).

Don't listen to this man.

http://emulation-general.wikia.com/wiki/PlayStation_emulators

There are 3 emulators that are worth it
PCSXR, Mednafen and Xebra
PCSXR is plugin based just like epsxe, but it's open source and it's regularly updated. epsxe is just stale and outdated at this point. Its ideal if you want to play 3D games in higher resolutions, but seeing you're trying yo play timegal that doesn't really make any difference, and it's harder to set up too so forget about PCSXR if time gal is all you want.
Mednafen and Xebra shoot for accuracy, which means they run in the original resolution. I'd recommend getting Retroarch with the Mednafen core and you'll be set up for life.
All you need to to is download retroarch, get some playstation bios and in the retroarch update menu download mednafen psx.

I might as well ask here. Are there any PS1 games similar to Diablo?
