>look his way once again and notice he's watching a youtube video on how to beat Phantom Ganon, he probably got his ass handed to him and didn't figure how to fight him properly
>see him trying again, the boss fight is barely playable with lots of emulation stutter/slowdown

I managed fine against him as a kid but playing that on a touchscreen while it's choppy sounds a bit tough

I fought phantom ganon last month and I shot the wrong painting like 5 times in a row, just got unlucky, was thinking I was lost until rng kicked in and the fight went as normal. There were some ghosts you had to fight as a miniboss and they kept reviving if you use the magic sword spin on them. Turns out the game just demanded you use the arrow for those even though the sword beam makes more sense. I'll give him a pass, no one wants to fucking backtrack

All of it is true. It was a gathering with myself and another friend we used to do, we usually played multiplayer games mostly on GameCube but that one timed they just decided to "hang out" for some reasons.
The other friend was also doing bot stuff on the korean mmorpg but he was listening to tracker music from a pirate password generator for whatever program I don't remember.
They'd sell the item shit (for real money) the bots would get them.

That friend hadn't paid his water bill but I still had to take a shit, so I did, but there was no way to flush it out.

Glorious times.

Different strokes for different folks. YouTubing the solution to a game sucks the fun out of it entirely for me, but it gave that guy what he wanted.
I have to say that the most amusing detail of this story was that you could hear the gameplay. No headphones? This guy has something to prove. The world must witness him playing the classics.
