Since you're not really using a growing arsenal of gadgets to solve puzzles I wouldn't compare it to Zelda. It's an action-adventure centered around a depressed town, with some puzzles and backtracking. RPG-elements too.

Brave Fencer Musashi and Alundra are the PS1 Zelda-likes I can think of.

Not op but it doesn't matter if it looks like a real crt unless that's your goal. The illusion that sharpens the image up still works there. It even looks like it lines up correctly. And you could argue that it kinda looks like a bvm display if you really needed to justify it in that way

Nintendo needs Miyamoto to come back to these 1st-Party titles. Even a small update would help assert his legacy, I hate seeing him as a marketing mascot for hollywood slop, let somebody else do that shit.
