This computer originally belonged to my grandparents from around 2003 to 2007 where it was running Windows XP. It was barely powerful enough to play Mall Tycoon and they used it primarily just for doing taxes and checking email while I goofed around watching YouTube videos, playing flash games, and browsing GameFAQs until they replaced it with an eMachines system running Vista in 2007. Since I've upgraded it I like to think it would've been a pretty solid computer for circa 2000-2002 standards, and it'll play most Windows games made up through 2003.

Thanks dude. It took me years to source all the parts I wanted. Mouse, speakers, and monitor were all found at Goodwill and other thrift stores, found the Sidewinder gamepad at a Vintage Stock of all places, also found an old Linksys wifi adapter with Win98 drivers so I could browse theoldnet.com in all of its period-accurate glory. The Zenith keyboard is really nice, used to belong to my grandpa on a much older system but I decided to go ahead and buy a DIN-to-PS/2 adapter to use it for this build after I found it in his old workshop after he passed away. I wasn't going to post mine because it'll get hate but if you're curious... It's just a crappy CPU case (the one I used in the late 90s) missing a panel and a hideously noisy P4 heatsink and fan that I bought for replacement. The fan is super dirty and the 3 pin fan soldering broke while moving the cables around so I had to resolder. I'm trying to find a replacement case and just today I was tidying the place up to set it up somewhere where I can just boot it and play.

GeForce MX 440 64 MB like yours
120 GB IDE HDD
512 MB of DDR 400 RAM
SoundBlaster SB0220 connected to the DVD drive and the motherboard for PC-Speaker.

I have Win 98 SE on it and a few MS-DOS games with DeusEx. I still have my old 1280x1024 LCD monitor for it.

Next week I will be forced to recycle this functional 1999 generic TV. I'm a bit saddened that the long dead technology will be even more scarce in the world. Especially since I took care of it and it has displayed a lot of hours of Capcom Vs. SNK 2 between my friend and I. Would love to see it go to a good home that could utilize it for more great gaming, but I cannot afford the space. This setup was great for the games I love but it does consume too much electricity that has ballooned in cost.

Sorry my bad. I found that it's not emulation it's more like a clone of the original system. The thing is this clone system are not perfect, the audio isn't like the original deal and they have some problems with certain games.

I asked my friends/family and none of them are interested in old technology. None are willing to store it for me until I get back onto my feet due to its bulk.
