Underrated means the controller is better than what people rate it.
As far as I understand, the controller is considered ok, so explain me why the controller is actually better than ok.

It's the best 6th gen controller by far, and while there are many GC, DS, Duke fans it's just considered okay. Which I guess is because people see it as an unfinished 360 controller. Still it has it's own unique premium feeling to it.

The black and white button placement will always be the main hindrance of this controller. Sony had already perfected shoulder buttons this but M$ wanted to "be unique" and decided to make them too small, recessed into the shell too far and too close to the thumb to be pressed comfortably.
