Have the chance to get a dingoo a330 for 50$ would mostly use it for nes and snes. Anybody has it and could tell me something about it?

I just got my GCW-zero in the mail. Goddamn D-pad down needs a fucking hammer strike to register a press.

ble to dualboot with a Linux port (Dingux), but the thing is woefully underpowered.

On an odd note, here is a Dingoo modded into a mini Arcade cabinet:

*Captcha ate the first part of my post.

I would honestly shop around for a used PSP instead. The only thing I liked about the Dingoo was being able to dualboot with a Linux port (Dingux), but the thing is woefully underpowered.

THIS

You can get a PSP for like $50 and if the plastic shell is all scratched up you can buy a new one for like $10. Every version can use custom firmware, only like two can't use permanent custom firmware. A permanent CFW doesn't really matter though because most people put their PSP into standby instead of shutting it off without even realizing it. When the battery "dies" and stops letting you play, it still lasts a couple days as long as you leave it in standby, so that should give you plenty of time to charge it and wake it up.

You clearly don't own one, then. My D-Pad works just fine, anon.

What is a dingoo? Why would you pay 50$ for it if you can get a used psp in good condition for as less as 30$ and emulate your games + play psp, psn and psx games on it?

What alternatives are there to PSP portable emulation? I know there's this and the Pandora, but is there anything generally regarded as "best"?

That's kind of disappointing. I got a slim PSP for War of the Lions when it was new, used it for emulation slightly after beating the game and I wasn't using it for anything. Even though I use the recommended SNES emulator, there's always something wrong with each game (Missing sprites in SMRPG, Megaman, and others, occasionally some games can't progress past a certain point like Magnus' castle in Chrono Trigger).

GBA and NES emulation work fine at least, and PSX emulation is great. Just somewhat bummed on the lack of SNES.

I'm pretty sure there's a version of SNES9X for psp.

SNES emulation on the PSP is terrible.

Its using hardware from 2004. Its not good enough for emulation.
