>One of the best and most impressive looking Famicom games that puts all other NES adventure games (including Japanese ones) into shame and make them look like toddlers' drawings in comparison
>It almost looks like a Mega Drive game
>Still missing from videos with "most impressive looking NES games" just because it was an anime-style adventure game

>megadrive game

MSG "borrowed" a lot from JESUS though. Even the part where you walk around a rotating corridor is taken straight from that.

It's easy to make a graphically impressive game when functionally is pretty much a slide show, no one gives a shit.

Adventure """"games""""" are barely games

Why do you even care about Top 10s? Just enjoy the game.

It doesn't look like a Genesis game, but it is pretty neat. Not really that wild to make still images look good on 8 bit hardware.

I don't understand this logic.

Even then, which Famicom games have still images as good as Metal Slader Glory?

That's because it's barely a game, it was very impractical requiring a giant ass amount of space for an NES game and it nearly bankrupt HAL, for good reason.

Was the production of Metal Slader Glory a conspiracy between Iwata and Yamauchi to bankrupt HAL and put Iwata in charge of it on Nintendo's behalf afterwards?

Are there any significant differences between the NES version and the Super Nintendo version? I know only the NES version has a translation patch

First of all, MGS has actual animation unlike other adventure games. Secondly, show me even one NES game with cutscenes/graphics of that quality.
