I've been using this xecuter 3 ce xbox for a while now but I don't know a damn thing how the modchip works (I bought it from a local game store, they didn't know what it was either and only checked if the xbox worked properly), and the FBI kinda scrubbed the documentation off the internet after the team got fucked.
Been wondering if I could sell this thing off and buy a fresh, unmodded xbox and install an openxenium chip to it.

I recommend going with a PSTV hacked with sharpscale and adrenaline for PSP games, I can tell you from experience that playing PSP games through the component cables was really shitty, they simply did not look good squeezed down and letterbox even on widescreen displays (though PS1 classics did proper 4:3, but the PSTV also allows for that).

Wait what happened w the FBI? I’m literally playing on a halo Xbox executer chip modded one right now. It’s a bitch to get it connected and use the file transfer. I’ve forgotten w time and when I did look the info was scant (to be fair it was difficult to connect at the time or we were all just idiots). I need to figure out if I can update it or whatever, mine only has static back grounds but a buddy had the opening fight if Matrix Reloaded as his menu and that noise was tight.

For the Nintendo Switch, Xecuter made a really dumbass decision to charge people an additional licensing fee to use their already paid for Xecuter SX to be able to pirate games and play them, have to register your stuff and Switch on their website to activate your key. Obviously Nintendo didn't like this and, unlike Microsoft, actually did something about it by getting the feds to arrest a bunch of Xecuter team members (many of whom weren't even in the US, one guy was in China), seize their assets, forcibly take over their online shit, and have them jailed with tens of millions of dollars owed in lawsuits. That was back in 2020, don't know what's happened since but it seems like there haven't been any updates to any of their stuff since then.
I don't think anyone will get in trouble for having xecuter xboxes but it's obvious there won't be any kind of support for xecuter products going forward.
