The NES version of Jurassic Park. It’s just cute and the gameplay is fun.

I loved the Genesis Jurassic Park game and all these years I thought Rampage Edition was just an updated version but it's an actual sequel and better in many ways. I have no idea why they didn't give it a better name and cover.

>> No.9673452

>>9673424
I think both games are good in different ways. Rampage Edition is much more fast paced and focused on running and gunning compared to the first game that has plenty of platforming and figuring out where to go.

Too bad Sega lost the license for console games for The Lost World. Whoever made the Genesis TLW game really phoned it in, I know it was a Genesis game in 1997 but still..

Sometimes I like to put this on full-blast and imagine that I'm on Isla Nublar with a SPAS-12. The sun is setting to the west and turns the sky red as the green canopy above is betrayed to the dark of night.

I had this one as a kid. Interestingly, it seemed for the longest time Nintendo got top down JP games and Sega got side strollers, until this one came along and broke the trend. I remember it being one of my more played Genesis games; it was just fun to play, and plenty of dicking around to be had if you didn't feel like doing the main game. Although, why tantalize us with a dino arena death match at the end that we can only spectate? There was so much potential there for endless fun, and all they had to do was map the dinosaur attacks to the controller

>> No.9676686

Is Operation Genesis worth playing through even now that Evolution is out? People say it's good but it looks quite dated.

I used to love JP Builder on my GBA as a kid and the other Jurassic Park 3 GBA games, a lot of fun.

He was a board certified medical physician so he had to take a lot of biology classes. Could have had an interest in them before that, too. He was growing up during the height of the cold war, so the US was pushing science and learning hard among youth (in contrast to 80s through to today, where that was was replaced with stupidity, consumptions and perversions)
