Sin and Punishment 2, Gunstar Heroes, and Bangai - O Spirits.
Sin and Punishment 2 is just fucking great, first one never clicked for me as much for some reason. Gunstar I grew to love when I decided to beat it on hard and then expert, plus Seven Force was always sick as fuck. Bangai - O Spirits I never actually got even close to beating but man it's so fun but so hard, always love /m/ stuff anyway.

they made a long line of legit dogshit titles and the only time people ever hear about them is via insufferable threads such as these, and it's the same pathetic & obese failure that keeps posting the same threads over and over again.

literally the most overrated developer ever.

>> No.9666918 [DELETED]

FUCK treasure

their foundation is the worst castlevania and the worst contra.
gunstar heroes is just a bunch of shit on the screen. contra hard corps blows it out.
dynamite headdy, more like dynamite headache LOL
alien soldier has very awkward controls. would be unplayable without the turn invincible button
light crusader... LOL
guardian heroes is like gunstar but for beat-em-ups, just a bunch of shit on the screen. you dont even know where you are or what youre doing half the time. the other half youre mashing through a really gay story.
radiant silvergun is decent but there are way better shooters on the saturn
silhouette mirage is literally a 2/10 piece of crap
mischief makers is very good except for some boring levels in the second half
sin and punishment... FINALLY a legit great game
bangai-o doesnt know if its a puzzle game or a shooter. this sucks. plus, it's a dual stick shooter on consoles with single sticks... brilliant
ikaruga is cancer. this whole shooter/puzzle hybrid isnt as interesting as they think. these two genres are at odds.
wario world is legit obnoxious. why are their games so annoying?
astro boy was good
gunstar super heroes couldve been good if it focused on run n gun, the mechanics are really fun. as it stands, it's gimmick-laden garbage.
and finally, sin and punishment 2, their best game.

this is like 80% crap

I've tried Gunstar Heroes and Stretch Panic in the past and enjoyed those too, even tho i haven't played those nearly as much as i did with my top three. Need to try Silhouette Mirage and Guardian Heroes someday.

How does this shit work? Want to give it a fair chacne but no idea what to do. Is it all about parrying and grabbing objects like in many Treasure games?

Think of it as Power Stone, but with a main dodgeball mechanic as its primary focus (kinda like this anon >>9665594 described it as), main objective is to drain the enemy's health (in adventure mode the enemy's health is indicated by the color of the outline, going from white for full health to red for no health, while in multiplayer mode it shows like your hud in adventure mode, with a pencil that shrinks). You can parry and throw objects to do some damage, however you also have some melee attacks that you can perform with the square button + the direction of the dpad (even if the main four characters' attacks aren't that powerful), usually the meta is to farm the ball from yellow to red until its outline becomes a rainbow, where then you can perform special attacks that can do massive damage once you grab it, these special attacks are also done differently depending on what direction of the dpad you're holding while the character holds the special ball for those 3 seconds that happens. Trying to unlock every character legitimately is a fun little distraction that you can do (specially if you play it on either a PSP, a phone, or one of those chinese handelds where you can pick it up and play after you wake up your device from sleep mode), and i'm sure that playing with other people is the best way to enjoy the game, as some sort of party game.
