Weird seeing Ryoko Shiraishi and Nana Mizuki in a PSX game, but it was the last new Japanese game for the system. I mean, releasing PSX games after the PS2 was out was not a totally unreasonable thing to do because of backwards compatibility meaning you were purely expanding your install base, but that's so deep into the next generation for Japan after they'd already made a PS2 game in the same series. But the PSX port coming after Dreamcast was already an odd start.

The Mumbler enemy was a substitution for the regular Demon Children enemies in the school, in markets (i.e. PAL versions) that objected to depictions of violence against youth (see also the disappearing pickpocket kids of The Den in Fallout 2). In the US version, they only appeared in one sewer section near the end of the game.
