While you fags shriek and squeal about shaders vs crts and hardware vs emulators, people who don't waste their whole day on retarded NPC arguments are doing things like this:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ar9WRwCiSr0

tdlr spoiler for you zoomers with no attention span: he plays SNES Super Mario World on a physical NES
What's your excuse?

All he does is output the video signal through the NES. He's using a Raspberry Pi to do everything interesting.
It's really not that impressive, nor is it useful.

Indeed. Much better to spend countless days making retarded autistic fail. Then waste a whole day making a video of your cringe.

>>9608771
I saw very little evidence of talent in the videos about this. Autism and ignorance in spades though. Brainlets will be violently triggered by this statement. But anyone who has a basic understanding of electronics will find that cringe hard to watch.

that's cool but idgaf, i'm still going to post my crt in shader threads

So what is the objective? Is it an art project with a message? Is it like taking a statue of Elvis, installing a combination urinal/drinking fountain inside of it, and hanging a "whites only" sign around its neck? Because it's definitely ridiculous, but maybe there's point to this I'm not getting.

So we have decided it's an art project? Would have been cool if someone said that instead of posting a link to a 40 minute video using a clickbait description.

I'm very sure that someone who makes an NPC project like this sits around and complains about videogames.

Also, if you don't like arguing over things you are a fag.

>> No.9611762

You mean he's playing it on a raspberry pi. And he takes forever to get to the point. Terrible video.

>> No.9611925

I think it's a cool project but I didn't like his way of explaining things. Too much cute stuff about philosophical jokes, too little clear detail

Not even clicking on it. Looks like he's using nes cartridge as a video output device.

it's easier than ever to get into homebrew, communities are welcoming, emulator debuggers are amazing, resources are helpful, even youtube videos aren't garbage anymore and with enough patience and practice you can learn to hack or make anything.
if you just want to play video games though instead of making them, why is that an issue?
> While you fags shriek and squeal about shaders vs crts and hardware vs emulators
if there were no passionate retro enthusiasts who would play said projects or buy said games that you make to? ...i don't see a problem here?

lmao the absolute SEETHING in this thread

i never knew just how badly you losers had to cope over everything
is that what it's like being one of the incompetent unwashed masses?
