The law doesn't have these retarded loopholes IRL (at least in the US)...

Video Games don't go after rom sites as voraciously as movies or current gen games, because research has shown that roms don't make an economic impact on the game companies.

I used to get my ROMS from that site back in 2003 or 2004 when I was in high school. I actually discovered Front Mission and Front Mission: Gun Hazard because of them. Suddenly, NESticle appears, it can run hundreds of games where every previous emulator could run a dozen at best.

Oh, but keep in mind, due to how old and incomplete these emulators are, compatibility is quite lacking, so some games are impossible to test unless I go up to more recent versions, which reduces the hilarity. Off the bat, I cannot test SNES games with special chips like Star Fox, Super Mario Kart, SMRPG, etc. Nesticle also has incompatibilities with certain mappers, so a few games like Battletoads and Punchout don't run, at least on version 0.20. Version x.xx might run them, but that one is boring and relatively free of glitches, so meh.

Oh If you do that then try for a Kirby game on GB or even R-Type DX
But I'd much rather see some Kirby

Ranger X and then play it on a good emulator afterwards because it's a damn fine game.

This program made me happy in my pee-pee place. Can't tell you how much Metal Slug and Waku Waku 7 my friends and I played back in high school.

Man, this is a damn fine game. Not sure I may do this one for the video, but I had to check it out on a good emulator, because it's really cool, and I can't believe I had missed this one.

On the other hand, I just tested Alien Soldier, and I may actually do that one instead. It has a few glitches and the music sounds like ass, which is pretty good for my purposes.

Glad you enjoyed it. The game came out near the end of the Genesis' life span and had like no marketing so many people missed out on it.

I recently IPS Patched a copy of the Slayers game on SNES once I learned the English translation was completed (I had been waiting for that for years and eventually forgot about it.)

That was last year, I think.

Emulator question-
What is the best ps1 emulator with rumble support?
I'm currently using "PCSX-R" and I noticed it does have rumble support. I'm currently using a xbox 360 controller.

Have you tried other input plugins? Lilypad is the recommended one, though I've heard Pokopom is geared specifically toward 360 controllers.

Just thought I'd give an update. The next video will be Gunstar Heroes after all. After playing a bit longer, I found some interesting glitches I'd like to show. A certain Game Boy game will come after. Expect both tomorrow.

Gunstar Heroes is done. The next game will be Link's Awakening on Game Boy. Look forward to it!

Not 100% sure what the next one will be just yet, although I am heavily considering tackling a certain other famous SNES RPG.
