64 and Gamecube had shit libraries with few titles exclusive to the system worth playing and even fewer titles that I'd want to replay. Off the top of my head I can't tell you more than 10 games I think are worth playing for the N64 and I think I'd struggle to even come up with 5. The gamecube has even less.

You can add both the N64 and Gamecube catalogs into one and it's not even 1/3 the size of the PSX catalog. The PSX seems to have a lot of RPGs because it has more games but if you dive into its vast catalog it has more of every genre of game than the N64.

This would be like someone who mainly plays Genesis saying the SNES is shit because it's catalog is mostly boring RPGs and we both know that's not true.

What is even funnier about this is so many of the notable rpgs on the ps1 are square games which is the same company responsible for the notable snes rpgs. If square would have stuck with nintendo and downgraded their games from the ps1 era exclusively for the n64 you know Nintendo brainlets would praise the n64 for its rpg library and shit on the ps1 library for not having notable rpgs.

I mean Mario 64 and the Zeldas were good but thats 3 games, throw in the 3 good Rare platformers and that makes 6 games, beyond that everything else is negotiable.

Then gamecube comes along and puts out half assed sequels that aren't nearly as good as the N64 games. It makes me believe if we got a 3rd Banjo game it'd have been the black sheep of the 3.

Oh no I implied a majority of the exclusives that do exist are shit and the small portion of them that aren't are the only thing keeping the console a float as well as the only things that keep the console out of trash tier. There are some solid titles on the Game Gear that I think are worth playing even today but you didn't go defending that console even though it's most notable games also keep it out of trash tier.
