Yes, it's pretty obvious. They didn't know how long the show was gonna go so originally they did a Mario game every season. They quickly burned through to Mario 64 and then had almost no Mario games for years until they started doing the GameBoy ones.

Mario 64 and Sunshine are dull games to challenge since they're mostly adventure titles and not skill based action games like the 2D ones. It's mostly just going through the motions and collecting things.

Sonic Adventure would be a more interesting title.

Nah, they still have some AAA titles to pull from. They still haven't done Mega Man 6, Castlevania 2, Double Dragon 2 or 3, The Battle of Olympus, or Chester Field. There's also adventure games like Akuma no Shōtaijō(Uninvited), Shadowgate, and Deja Vu, which all were released on the Famicom. I know Power Blazer isn't considered as good as Power Blade, but it's still a very decent Mega Man-ish game. He hasn't played Hebereke, Cocoron, Castle Quest, or that Kunio-kun Ice Hockey game. They aren't scraping bottom yet. You'll know they're scraping bottom when they do that horrible Lupin the 3rd NES game.

I've never seen the appeal of adventure games on the show, it's like watching an abridged version of a very bad movie with a bit of commentary on top. At least the post-SFC ones usually have some small bits of gameplay in there as well.

The Tamage was a snore fest until the end when Arino played Taisen Hot Gimmick. 2P without honor or humanity is one of the best segments, but they muff the ending by having Arino hold the gun to Tsuruoka's head rather than letting him put the trigger himself.
And finally it was Watari's last episode as the support AD, and it felt really out of place this was the one time they had him dress up.

Kunio-tachi no Banka was a much better challenge and Tasuku made the best delinquent.

Any good complete (or mostly complete) torrents in 480/720p? The few I have found are missing a ton of episodes, and getting episodes individually is a gargantuan task at best and a fool's errand at worst.

I really want to see Arino play one of the old Megami Tensei games, like MT1, MT2, KMT, or one of the mainline SMT games. Seeing him react to all the dickish demon conversations and the other random bullshit throughout the game(s) would be fun.

I just really want to see Arino's reactions to the Megami Tensei formula. It feels perfect for his kind of playstyle where everything will fuck him over, he'd fall for all the traps, but be able to grind to get past whatever boss is stopping him.
