There were some pretty neat FF summon models. Pity they had to despawn the entire map, enemy and move model pool, wait 5 seconds, then throw salt over their shoulders before rendering them.

They're not the greatest models but I really don't see why people think the SH1 models are bad, I guess maybe up close they look a bit rough but that's most character models of that era. A lot of people really don't appreciate how much attention went into Harry's animation. At the start of the game in the neighborhoods you can walk up a few steps on a platform and fall off, Harry has a unique animation for walking forward and back off, running off, side stepping off, and jumping backwards off where he falls right on his ass. Literally no reason they needed to add them but they did.

It took them 3 years to lear how to model a bear that does not look like a fucked up Gamera and how to create a good game and go from the abomination that was Tekken 1 to the great game that is Tekken 3.
