I've wanted to do this thread for a while. I've got tons of scans of my own and some downloaded strategy guides, mostly for retro games. Never really needed strategy guides, but I collected them anyway cause I fucking love them. Lots of great artwork. Gonna be kicking this off with the guide that made me start collecting.

Ninja Gaiden 2 is one of my favorite games. I remember I was about eight or nine and I got grounded for being a little bastard, and that meant no video games. I was grounded after dinner and I had myself halfway through Ninja Gaiden 2 in my room.

Needless to say I didn't stop. I remember being on edge with my head inches from the TV in the dark with a flashlight so I could quickly turn it off and make believe I was reading if someone came by. Couldn't have the volume too loud, but I couldn't have it muted. Love the music too much.

Beat it at 2:44 in the AM. Was so fucking happy.

One of the cool features of this guide, and something I looked for in other guides, was the comic versions of the ingame cutscenes. This feature alone makes this one of my favorite guides in my collection.

These pages always make me think a Ninja Gaiden comic or manga series that elaborates on the NES games rather than the newer ones would be great. The newer games are fun as hell, but the older ones had a really awesome storyline, with Jaquio and the different swords. Could make for an interesting movie.

This is really neat OP, I'll be sure to download it and take a gander if I ever pic this one up. I'm a little too busy replaying Earthbound on the SNES (WiiU version changes some animations and music according to people who have played it) to play anything else at the moment. Nevertheless, great work!

I would've liked to have had all three games with a guide, especially of this caliber. Sadly, NG and Ancient Ship don't have guides. I would've loved to have the whole trilogy, but, this is the only one that exists for the NES Ninja Gaidens as far as I'm aware.
