Also many of them have worse graphics than original, completely defeating the entire point of a remaster in the first place. The I famous botched Polish remaster of Dark Souls 1 for example.

The only thing that somehow justified the existence of the game, was its strange aesthetics, an image of medieval dark fantasy from people unfamiliar with European culture.
Without it, it's just an alpha version of Dark Souls with a Blizzard asset pack

I prefer the level-based structure of the game, personally. I have a horrible sense of direction and always get lost in FROM games because they never have maps really.
