exactly, for 80s early video game standards, that jumping on the egg and throwing it back at him shit was innovative as hell for the time. am i the only one who always played as the princess? the way she floated just made for better gameplay. Luigi was especailly shit with the way those little legs would flail all around lol i did like how each character you could pick at its own strengths

Birdo is probably one of the few tranny characters I like. As much as I hate nu-Paper Mario Color Splash and The Origiami King handled Birdo well

I’m very glad we had this brought to the US instead of lost levels. SMB2 added another level of fantasy and imagination to the world of Mario. If we had gotten the actual SMB2, it would have just been more of the same and it wouldn’t of had as big of an impact imo.
