By rights, Roomi should have stuck. I think she was one more appearance from being one of the long-term great fighting girls; one more Galaxy Fight, refining its ideas as many other fighting sequels did.
Galaxy Fight isn't even bad at all, but I feel like people just didn't get it back then. Or now, probably.

I don't think Capcom gives half a shit either. It's supposedly set right after SF3 I think, yet not one SF3 character in the roster. Big focus on Metro City as an explorable hub world, yet not one Final Fight character in the roster. Instead a bunch of shitty newcomers.

I expected after they added the cel shader to SFV that 6 would all be cel shaded. Having it look realistic is a mistake. I honestly can't find one positive thing I can say about the game other than I like that one Japanese stage with the sakura and the foxes. Literally everything depending on meter killed it for me though.

God, I know! I felt like I was on the fucking moon reading nu-FGC dickriders paint that mechanic in a positive light. I just hope that the people who buy into it have fun, at least. I hope I get to watch some interesting tournaments of it. Game's ugly and just not for me as far as I can tell, though.

Man, when I played that game in the old days, I think 2000, it was sooooooooo clean and fresh and fast. I was so amazed, and I've never been more amazed with a game in my entire life. It was 3D but moved so damn fast with no jagged edges! PS2 games didn't even accomplish that and that was years later!
