Why did Alys extort poor Hahn? Money doesn't seem that important to her, feels like she's doing it purely out of spite.

Yep, she's a bitch.

Why shouldn't she? He's too weak to travel and fight on his own and she's essentially a mercenary.

In Japanese she says it's the sixth most annoying thing to her.

He wanted bodyguards. Had to pay for it. Hahn is fucking weak on the beginning. Is it that hard for you to understand? They have a job and need to eat and buy stuffs to survive.

how did they get away with this

Jews may have invented the holocaust but they didn't invent the word holocaust.

This attack fakes being hurt by the enemy until they feel guilty and kill themselves.

That's not japanese anon. That looks like the atrocious fan translation ... sorry "relocalization" where they made half of it up.

Jews do not have a monopoly on the word, the word holocaust means "Whole burning", hence why we have the phrase "nuclear holocaust" for the theoretical apocalypse scenario in which humanity is wiped out in nuclear war.

>> No.9230467

>>9230461
In addition to that the term "holocaust" has been used to refer to genocide since prior to the 1940s.

The text in other pic is the same as in the original Western release. I haven't looked into the "relocalization," but that's sad if it's really that bad.

Wren from 3 is シーレンTYPE386, which seems to be the same as the Siren386 enemies. Meanwhile Wren from 4 is フォーレン, "Forren/Fouren." So a later model.

Is Phantasy Star IV worth playing? I'm not big on turn-based RPG's but it seems like one of the popular Genesis titles

>>9230879
Definitely. It's one of my favorite RPGs personally. It depends on how much you're not into turn-based RPGs. It's an RPG that's easy to get into though, so you're more likely to enjoy it than Phantasy Star II or something which is more brutal with the dungeons and random encounters. Give it a shot at least.

>> No.9230967

>>9230879
It has excellent pacing and a good presentation and battles are quick and customizable with macros and spell combinations. It's definitely worth trying.

It's cool how Rune, Rika, and Wren are sort of representing PS1, 2, and 3. It was a neat way to tie the series up.
