I'm playing through Wild Arms right now and there've been some puzzles that are too obtuse in the second half. In the room with the 4 colored statues and 3 pads I would never have thought that you needed to destroy the unused statue to get the door open. Bombs don't work on any of the other statues, why would they work on those ones?

Playing Wild Arms for the first time, and if you read the little inscriptions on each floor it tells you exactly where to put each colored block and to break the one block.
