Best 2d for me is Pac-man arrangement or mania, I just like the change up of the music and gameplay. ms.pac and pac and pal are also good
best 3d is Pac-man world 2, but 1 is pretty good too. Solid controls and overall is fun to play.

Pacman Championship Edition Demake. Even tough it's a NES game, it's actually pretty good and fun. I play it for hours. It feels like a fresh breath of air.

Pac-Man World 2 is my favorite game of all time.
Objectively speaking, the title of best Pac-Man game would prooooobably go to Pac-Man Arrangement (1996), but World 2 is definitely high up there, as is World 1, Maze Madness, and Adventures in Time.

recently i tried the pacman emulator for amstrad cpc which uses the mame rom, its was good and got me back into pacman, i dl every release on pc, really like pacman 256 and the championship edition dx, also got the nes demake i think it came from an official release maybe on switch or something, forget if i tried it.
