Also i always forget the name of, Last Funky Fighter? Ultra violent, but cartoony whack-a-mole featuring a dude beating to death wild animals inorder to save a big titty lady. Use to play it as a kid at chuckie cheese. Wanna say Jaleco releases it? Maybe Taito.

Tapper. I especially enjoy the Root Beer Tapper variant. The idea of people getting angry over root better as opposed to Budweiser is comedic to me. On that note, Timber is also a great game. Marble Madness as well.

I love Namco's 90s arcade era where they just did so much weird shit. Everyone of course remembers Time Crisis and Ridge Racer but they had some really creative stuff back then.

Many moons ago I installed mame and a bunch of arcade roms.
One of them (Japanese) was about a bit traveling through the seven hells.
I really wanted to go back and play it, can't remember the name now.

Crazy Taxi is one of my favourite arcade games of all time.
Deceptively deep and so replayable, also just a really fun and light hearted atmosphere and gameplay.

I discovered Dynamite Cop with a couple friends in one of those "arcades are a dying breed, just move the machines to the dark corner of the mall" arcade setups.
With absolutely zero expectations going in, and a broken button making one of the QTEs unbeatable, it was easily the greatest game in that arcade, hands down. And they had a fucking Tie Fighter cabinet.
It made the night.

There is fundamentally no difference between arcade games and phone games. They're both shallow and try to take your money one microtransaction at a time.

I know you're trolling, but this simply isn't true as a blanket statement.
Many arcade games can be overcome with skill, even if it's crushingly difficult at first to take your quarters. Many are focused around multiplayer as well where you can get another go if you beat your opponent (fighting games being the most obvious example, but even racing games with beating checkpoints).
I don't know if phone games do this, but more likely phone games take your money by making the game 'not fun' until you pay up, like making you wait long intervals unless you pay, or make you grind long hours worth of game unless you pay.
An arcade game like Crazy Taxi you can overcome getting charged extra by getting good and learning the game, but a phone game that makes you wait 2 days for your plants to grow or whatever can only be circumvented with money.

This game is a lot of fun. Played co-op with some friends on Dreamcast recently and we had a blast. The fact you can put a zombie into a figure 4 leg-lock is hilarious.

I still have a picture of me and my friend when we beat this at an arcade the school took us to for our 8th grade graduation. I have it on my Dreamcast, but can't bring myself to play it and take the rose tinted goggles off of playing this with my childhood best friend all the way through. We felt like gods because people actually came to watch us fight the final boss.
