Slaughter maps are no fun and most of the traps in the game are deceitful and downright unfair, cruel, and morally objectionable to the player. No game is good that requires memorization by trial and error for the player to get good at it.

Plutonia and TNT fucking suck.

The only shitty trap is in Cyberden, the one with the archviles inside walls. It's so shitty that even Dario Casali thinks it's an awful idea.

Plutonia > Doom 1 > TNT > Doom 2
Plutonia missing the soundtrack actually hurts it more than people pretend it doesn't.

Have you played Plutonia together with the fan made midi pack soundtrack with it? If so what was your fav midi track? I really liked HOSILFU.

For me, it's the part of Final DOOM that should have been but didn't make it in time.

Plutonia is my favorite too.

The first 15 maps of TNT are the best overall stretch, even if the second half kind of shits the bed.

Plutonia will always piss me off. I think the traps are absolute bullshit and trial-and-error, and I'll never be convinced otherwise. Also, I'm glad someone pointed out the soundtrack element, because TNT goes a long way for me with all of the new music they add. Wormhole is an amazing map concept, and the music is perfect.

sometimes you can survive the traps the first time encountering them and sometimes you don't, Plutonia for me gets better with each subsequent playthrough as you get good with each one, try replaying it now, maybe you will change your mind about it this time.

Wormhole got the best soundtrack in TNT for me which is called Death's Bells, Wormhole concept is very cool, i just wish they gave us the BFG or more rocket launcher ammo to deal with the second world.
