snooze you lose
Of course he'll sell it to someone else if it's a sure deal immediately rather than wait 2 hours for someone who might back out

Bad. You contact both sellers and find out if one is willing to offer you more and you let the other know and see if they are willing to go over that amount.

First come first serve. Anyone serious about it would've taken off from work to get it first.

Worse yet:
>Selling a game
>Potential buyer asks "Hey is this still available?"
>Yeah.
>1 day goes by
>No response
Mother fucker other potential buyers are being put on hold because of you.

Or my favorite:
>Selling relatively new game for Ex.) $45, when the average used price is $50
>"Hey would you be willing to do $40?"
Fuckin' Normiebook Marketplace...

That scenario is exactly why OP's seller acted on the sale immediately instead of waiting for his "after work" response which had 90% chance of not even happening for all the seller knew.

IDK, I have enough patience and personally wouldn't do that to a buyer when plans are set in stone, but if a problem did occur, it's one and done with me. 2 fucking hours is not an eternity and that faggot flaked out on OP like some Grindr meet up.

Yeah, but expecting some normie hustler looking for beer money to be reliable is insanity.

Bad.
Both potential buyers will think you're trying to scam them.

I assume you never sold shit on those platforms?
tons of people bail at the last minute and won't show up.
have that happen to you a couple of time and you start to not care anymore and just sell to the first person to show up.

I only shop on second hand markets that have rating systems. Nobody with 4/5 or 5/5 that has more than 90% ratings does shit like that.

This happened to me once when I was a teenager collecting stuff (circa 2002). It was not exactly the seller's fault, I just asked my friend who had an eBay account to buy something for me. One of our mutual friends, however, somehow convinced my friend to let him get the game. He paid for it of course, but when I contacted the seller and he told me it was already sold I was puzzled.
Then my friend confessed to me that the other guy got the game instead... and to this day I'm still not sure how that happened. I do know that the other guy who was our mutual friend didn't like me very much, but I don't know how he convinced my friend about it, and my friend never wanted to talk about it again.
It's not really a big deal as I eventually got the game anyway. The funny thing is that the guy who got the game didn't even own the console the game was for, he just did it to spite on me lol.

>I assume you never sold shit on those platforms?
The worst of flakes I got from anywhere are on 4chan -- anons on /toy/ in the /bst/ threads specifically.

It's a little disheartening knowing there some people on here who're downright skittish (or lazy) to say "Yeah, nah -- fuck you." after a few days to a week go by with no answer, despite how vocal they are when shitposting on here.
I'm not going throw you into a fucking meat grinder if you're not interested in buying and always willing to haggle. I say as much in my listings on /toy/.

TL;DR Fite me online, fagget
