I want to see some impressive collections. Gather up all your rarest games and post a pic. Let's see if any collectors have the same tastes in games.

Often mutually exclusive concepts, sir. Especially when it comes to games. Not trying to piss on your thread, but I'm not going to gather up my OMG RARE games just to show off. I got them through sheer LUCK and I didn't know they were rare when I got them. I just recommend that everybody gets savvy with flash carts and mod chips, so rare games can be enjoyed by EVERYONE.

The point was so far above your head that North Korea is claiming it as a successful satellite launch.

Just because you CAN buy something doesn't mean you should pay the speculator's price for it. Otherwise, why go to different gas stations?

Seeing some of these carts have me thinking about a funny old story when I lent my buddy my SNES.

>Hey man, I can't play this right now; take care of my games and enjoy.
>Months go by, he has some financial troubles. Somehow deals with them.
>Moves out of place, not in good graces by his roomies, either. I recover my games and console.
>6 months later, I plug in, find I'm missing original carts of Chrono Trigger and Earthbound, a few others, basically all the most valuable titles.
>dig online, add up the totals, roughly equals what he owed his roommates.
>Confront him about it, claims no knowledge, and I believe him because he's too stupid to know proper value but one roomie totally might have known what he was seeing. I forgive rather than hold grudge.
>Still hang with same buddy, still kinda want to stab him every now and then.

He totally might have been lying, but he's really not that good at it. But his roommate/ex-stepdad was absolutely a self-serving sheisty piece of shit. So either my buddy lied and can watch me be the bigger man everyday through his shame, or the self-serving one ganked the games while he wasn't looking and pawned them, and my friend either knows and is afraid of telling me because i'll disown his sorry ass, or doesn't know and they got stolen. Moral of the story: don't loan your prized games and console to a deadbeat stoner. Which I knew walking in, so I kinda asked for it via optimism.

just dedicated - I could have been driving a middle class car by now maybe if I didnt invest lots of my money into games.

mind you I am collecting for more than 10 years now.

that Sapphire was bought when I studied in Japan - so I got it at a much more reasonable price then nowadays.
