OP, make sure to hook it up to your computer via network cable and get OPL running. That way you dont need to burn or buy games, you can just load ISO files off network. Its pretty kino. As far as less obvious choices go:

I looked that up and am kinda worried of how the games are gonna run. I got a slim and read I can't use a HDD on those but a USB stick with freemcboot? To lengthen the lasers life and not play from burned disks all the time.
Do the games loaded off the network run the same as disks?

A platformer where you collect cards and create your own 3d modeled monsters, each with a ton of movement variety / attacks based on their shape and limbs. It's a must play for anyone who enjoys customization imo

Proto-Dead Rising taking place in Rome after Caesar's assasinated. Gore through an arena where you tear off body parts and cut people in half with weapons. Stealth sections are meh but break up the action so I enjoy them.

Based on my personal favorite manga, a 3d fighting game with really unique mechanics, realistic movesets, and brutal supers. Overall a great time.

90% of the games run flawlessly. If the game doesn't work, it will refuse to load and you will immediately be able to tell. You can also use virtual memory cards meaning you have virtually unlimited space for save files.

USB method works too but since usb speed is slow as fuck, movies/fmvs can lag and skip about.

Play Ephemeral Fantasia. This game is only hated because JRPG fags can't handle non-linear gameplay in an almost open world environment. Give it a chance. Ephemeral Fantasia has a great soundtrack and a great story worth experiencing. Don't listen to homosexuals shitting on it and don't be afraid to look at a guide if you get stuck. The game is really cryptic.
