Just got my Rg351m! I was curious what games you guys would recommend from the snes, nes, and so on. when I was a kid all I ever got was a gameboy so I missed out on a lot.

from what I can gather so far

Just start with the games you already want to play. Filling it up with a shit ton of games at the start is a rookie mistake..

Yeah, RG351MP and RG351V have a 640x480 screen.
RG351M and RG351P have a 480x320 screen, it's uniquely perfect for GBA games but also very well suited to handhelds like Game Boy Color, Game Gear, Neo Geo Pocket Color, Wonderswan, even Pokémon Mini.

Amberelec, a popular custom firwmare for these Anbernic 351 devices (formerly 351elec) also details all of the systems it supports.
https://amberelec.org/systems/

They also support something called Portmaster, which is various Linux versions of games ported to RG351 systems.
https://amberelec.org/portmaster
You got stuff like AM2R, Shovel Knight, Sonic Robo Blast 2, Tomb Raider 1, Undertale, Sonic 1/2/CD, VVVVVV, Space Cadet Pinball, OpenTyrian, Quake 1/2/3, Cave Story, Hydra Castle Labyrinth, Freedom Planet, and way more.

Congratulations, you just got the worst Anbernic product.
>3:2 screen is horrible for everything except GBA
>buttons connected internally to an USB hub that doesn't work properly
>device starts having hardware and firmware problems below 30% battery
>metal body which makes it more expensive and heavier, with no added benefit
>has interference problems between the speakers and the wifi chip
>only one SD card, so if the system gets corrupted for whatever reason, your games, saves and stuff might also get corrupted

>but if i get caught i will have a hard time explaining wtf im doing
Well if you're worried about getting caught at work you're also going to have a tough time explaining when your boss hears the BING BING WAHOOS coming from your wagecage and sees you with a gaming device in your hands.
If your goal is to play secretly at work, then you're better off just installing some emulators on your smartphone. It drains battery incredibly fast but at work I'm sure you can find a power outlet.

>> No.8913441

>>8912384
Also no Startropics or Shatterhand.

>> No.8915182

>>8910940
Depends on which platforms you want to emulate and how much money are you willing to spend. You can get a pretty good idea through this: https://docs.googlecom/spreadsheets/d/1irg60f9qsZOkhp0cwOU7Cy4rJQeyusEUzTNQzhoTYTU/edit#gid=0

As long as you stick up to Dreamcast/DS/PSP and some mild GC/PS2, the Retroid Pocket 2+ is by far the best retro handheld under 100 eurobucks as of now.
