What's your favourite Tomb Raider from the old Core Designs originals or the Crystal Dynamics trilogy?

>> No.8898836

TR1 and Last Revelation. Hate TR3

>> No.8898840

The Last Revelation with all its flaws is still one of the best TR game and it's my favorite out of them all.

I unironically like nu-Lara, until they then changed her again for the worse.

I will get lynched for it, but I've gotten the most fun out of TR3 and then Underworld. Although there isn't a Tomb Raider game that I actively dislike, outside of maybe 2013 reboot.
But overall, I wish Embracer remade or remastered the old Core games. That would make my day.

TR3 is my old Lara. I actually enjoyed Rise of the Tomb Raider for what it was (a sort of smoothie made from Far Cry 4 and Uncharted 2).

Core Design. I think they were going for a Michelle Johnson kind of look for her character, where they could do glamour or noir style if the scene called for it.

Certain American actresses immediately telegraph as being British-by-extraction. Every post-Core design has been completely removed from that.

Yeah, Top Cow Lara had some really nice characterization. Those were some pretty underrated comics that I will cherish forever.

Except they weren't underrated and everyone was talking how great they were and now are considered some of the better shit that happened in the late 90s and early 00s.
The forgotten one is pic related, which is obscure even in TR fandom
