In Magical Quest (starring Mickey Mouse), we are led to believe that emperor Pete has kidnapped Mickey's pet dog, Pluto, for some nefarious purposes. However upon closer inspection, he seems to wear the symbol of the planet Pluto (), suggesting some kind of reverence or worship. This may suggest that his real goal may have been trying to save Pluto from his enslavement by the psychopath mouse, instead of what we are told.

The little "feet" on the P makes it Pluto's symbol specifically. Furthermore, the cape and helmet Pete is wearing is typically associated with Pluto's myths. Also Pete is shown to be an amalgamation of ghosts in his entrance, showing he has ties to the kingdom of the dead.

Both this game and the sequel "The Great Circus Mystery" are fuckin great games

They are bit on the easy side, but they are absolute blast to play. I don't know why people don't give them much love.

Usually when it comes to Mickey games, Mickey Mania gets all the love. But that game is balls hard, and was developed by Twisted Metal/God of War creator David Jaffe
