Lode Runner.

Apple II and N64 versions were good spelunkers with tons of levels. The windows 3.1 version had vivid level themes including rain forests, crystals, metal and lava. And it had a LEVEL EDITOR. I made hundreds of levels. If only the internet were as big as it was today this game would have been a user-generated-content goldmine.

Why always those remakes? Why do we live in those times?

Same goes for movies. All the pointless remakes - mostly movies that aren't even older than fucking 25 years - nobody needs. What is wrong with the old ones?

Same goes here, what the hell is wrong with LBA1? I played it a few months ago. It's still a great game. Why not putting the money and workforce into a sequel? Telling a new story? Introducing new characters, new places, something new?

No, it's always remakes remakes remakes. I fucking hate these times.

Master of Magic. Think old style Civ 2, but with tactical combat, and magical research instead of technological research, which puts a split into your magic route and your "physical route", so emphasizing production at the expense of "money" is more viable and more varied.

It had a lot of bugs, dumb as shit AI, and a few balance issues (a lot of the races and spells were kind of stupid). I would literally kill the president on national television and accept my raping in Guantanamo bay if it ensured that a really good team made a new and improved version.

A game series traditionally on a handheld gets an entry on the new Ultra home console, and it's nothing like any of the previous entries. Instead of collecting Pokemon and doing battle, you take pictures of them? Seemed like a poor direction for the series to go in.
