I am running out of space on my shelves. Started collecting stuff like 9 years ago (I only buy stuff I like and play btw, I'm not a coomlector obssessed with full sets or pristine looks), but now I realized that I no longer have space to storage my stuff.

Need to look for a new way to display my stuff, maybe buy a taller shelf (cuz I don't have space, still living rented on a little room) or start to storage in boxes stuff I no longer need on display so I was wondering, how do you keep your videogames? I am specially interested on the ones with space difficulties like myself. How do you get around the lack of room to buy a huge rack to keep your vidya?

cases go in boxes and totes, discs go in spindles dedicated to the console

more shelves
i buy 3-5 of the same ones whenever they are cheap and "upgrade" my furniture every few years

craigslists and offerup have deals from time to time - furniture hunting is just as annoying as game collecting but if you are patient you will be rewarded

lol I don't believe that, your shelves are full of junk. Really gonna tell us you're a big Wall-E, Shrek 2, Bakugan or PuzzleQuest fan?

just put them in bins out of sunlight
use ode or flashcarts you are literally wasting money on shit with very low liquidity

Listen here you little shit, displaying stuff looks good on my room, do not imply I show my shit to some random videogame nerd coomlectors what "holy grail" I got today, this stuff is for my enjoyment alone

I will respond to this just to shut your fag mouth.

PS2 Wall-E is a good game, in fact, it is the best version of Wall-E games out there, because other console versions are actually pretty different and bad, if I recall correctly, only the GameCube version is the same as the PS2 one.

PS2 Shrek 2 is nostalgic for me, because I have good memories enjoying Shrek movies with my family when I was a child, so I got hooked to anything Shrek over the years. Shrek games I tried are actually pretty decent, except for Carnival Games, which is a mediocre party game (cost me like 2 bucks, but don't recommend that one tho)

Bakugan was a gift from my cousin, he knew I was into videogames so he gave me that one and some other games (WinBack, Okami and DBZ Budokai)... It was a gift so I won't throw it away because is a bad game.

And finally, sorry if you have shit taste but Puzzle Quest is a fantastic puzzle game, DS one has more "soul" but console port is actually pretty cool tho, it has all the spells, mounts, slaves, equip and everything else on the original. It was a surprise when I first tried it on DS and now I am hunting Puzzle Quest 2, Galaxtrix and the expansion the original had on PS3.

How much do you like watch dogs?

The display is only for my amusement tho, I think it just looks good. Also, I own flashcarts, got my consoles hardmoded with chips and everything, but if I found a game I like or would like to try at a good price, I snatch it. I never paid more than 20 bucks for any game in my collection, I am just patient and wait for deals to actually drop money. That way got Silent Hill 2 for 4 dollars, Odin's Sphere for 7 and Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3 steelcase version for 12.

I was just curious on how other anons solve the space problem, that's why I made the thread.

Didn't try it yet because got that one pretty recently and right now I am busy beating Persona 3 and Recettear.

That's the only PS2 disc I have, fond memories it's actually a thought out fun game. Trust me it's not your run of the mill tie in movie game, it can hold it's own.

I know it's just because you're from a younger generation and there's a generation gap, but...
How the fuck does anyone collect disc games? The games all suck and disc drives are unreliable.

Props for SET though, did you play it in school? I had it at home first and then later when a teacher had it at school I absolutely crushed everyone at it.

You should have got it around the 2014-2016 era, you would have seen the game differntly, watch dogs is just one of those games.

Gave me a great idea. I'm going to buy repro boxes for every game I care about and put them on a shelf. Then use a flash cart to play the games. Much cheaper and everything will be pristine.

(Yes, empty boxes). Suppose the insides could be weighted down with a block of wood or some rocks or something, to give them a genuine heft.

I have 28, never had a console as a child and only approach to videogames was emulators on my dad's computer, then my own windows XP computer when I was like 12 and also videogame centers I visited after school. With my first job, I saved for a chipped PS2 and a TV when I was 17, and never cared for original games. When I was like 20, got out of curiosity Greatest Hits version of Gran Turismo 4, and compared to my shitty burned and compressed copy, the game looked so gorgeous the coonsoomer finallt clicked on my. Sadly, the videogame bubble market has already started to rise at that time so "vintage" stuff was pricey. But PS2 games where dirt cheap so I got a bunch I liked. That's why I buy mostly disc videogames I think. I also have super famicom and genesis games, but they are not in the picture. I also gain little knowledge about maintenance of electronic media so my lasers are in excellent shape.

I play SET with my nerd friends, we all have different card and board games and we share stuff on weekends lmao
