Castlevania Rondo of Blood is fantastic and my favorite game in the series.
The Ys Book I & II are great and Ys IV: The Dawn of Ys is almost as good. Ys III: Wanderers from Ys isn't bad either but it's very different from the others. Supposedly it wasn't even going to be an Ys game originally.
Dragon Slayer: The Legend of Heroes is one of the better Dragon Quest clones if you can put up with the horrible voice acting.
There are versions of the Exile and Valis games on it but they're not really any better than the Genesis versions in my opinion.
Aside from that it's just shmups, Lords of Thunder probably being the best one.

I'm seeing a TurboGraphxxx-16

I played a little bit of this a while back. Once you get used to the UI, it's actually pretty simple to navigate. Typical dungeon crawler but the graphics are colorful. The bosses are cute monster girls that turn back to cute human girls after you defeat them. There's even Graffiti mode which lets you look at the girls' portraits from Dragon Knight 1-3.

The game is censored slightly from the PC-98 version though.

Asuka 120% and Flash Hiders are incredibly decent fighters. Dungeon Explorer is fun alone but more fun multiplayer with the multitap, DE2 is honestly a great game regardless how many play. Forgotten Worlds has an exceptional port, the cd soundtrack is great and you get used to how they configured the aiming. Galaxy Keiji Gayvan took time to warm to at first but getting to know your moveset and when to use it makes it an excellent singleplane fighter, which feels very Technos/Kunio. Spriggan and Sylphia are third and fourth place behind Lords/Gate of Thunder for best cd shmups.

Yeah, I mean probably. I have about 15 other retro consoles I divide my time up with, and its only a couple times a week if at all. It's not like I'm gonna be exclusively playing CD PC-Engine games 10 hours a day every day. It'll probably last a couple CD games once in awhile. Plus, it was a short lived console, so I doubt the used one I get will be all that worn out.
