As a kid, I picked up this Nintendo Power, and kept looking over this bit about F-Zero's roster. Just going off the names and machines, I actually assumed that Super Arrow was evil and Black Shadow wasn't, since I thought Black Shadow was more of a Batman type.

Finally a pool game! The N64 is now mature.

While checking whether Space Circus was actually released (it was), I've learned how impressively many N64 games were not released in Japan. (Go to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Nintendo_64_games and sort the Japan column to make all the "Unreleased" jump to the top.) I've read many times that the console didn't do terribly well in Japan, but this is the first time I've bothered to actually look at the relative sizes of the NA and Japanese libraries. So many racing games, football games, and FPS's the Japanese missed out on! And also Killer Instinct, Conker, Tetrisphere, and others.
