A lot of it's mostly just having a good amount of scenery around, paths going under and over the ride help out too. I like building the entry path to go over the station platform because of this. Also, a lot of people forget that being over water can help ratings slightly.

The water splash being directly above the station ruins my evening the most about this ride design, more than the disgusting lift hill.

It's actually a good demo of intermediate coaster adjustment practices for new players to take away from, since the only thing you changed was the speed you took the inversions at and you were NOT in any penalty range to begin with, it just got softer within the good range and that still changed the stats very positively.

I've noticed entrance tiles don't always behave correctly (at least in my time playing just orct2) if sloped path is connected to them. I had a sloped, but elevated, path coming from an entrance in the crater level once and found a small congregation of people stuck under there later on, killing my rating. From your image it seems like if that happens on matching sloped terrain, they just harmlessly fall underground to despawn.

Wondering if it happens to guests who are checking the entrance and deciding to turn around back into the park, since it's not all guests coming or going.

Getting back into ORCT2, going through the RCT1 scenarios and making ugly as shit parks trying to get the hang of things again.

Do you guys plan out path layouts in advance?
what about scenery?
I'm thinking I should take it easy and plan the park out more + create more scenery instead of just spamming rides.

We tend to build based on what has been built, if your asking about the server. Just find a place where your thing fits and then build them and you're fine.

You will never actually be totally safe. What one person may call perfect behavior another person may call 'destroying my trees.' Is it rude to put wooden roller coaster supports above another ride? Is it rude to drive your car ride through their vertical loop? Who knows. Do whatever and then fight about it. Try to read the room and then remember that you're autistic or whatever.

In terms of just the design of your personal park, I for one am already pissed at your massive queues. Like, try to explain to me why you put that ferris wheel in the sky. Try. It feels less like you need to plan things ahead more and more like you need practice stuffing your creations into the available space, aside from the ferris meme.

Just have some basic foresight of how shit is going to fit. You'll need some knowledge - of how shit can be made to fit aesthetically - to achieve that. Dynamite Dunes, in particular, you need to make shit hug the dunes all terrain coaster like.

Exactly this, Dynamite Dunes is especially hard to work with because the dunes make such a large part of the park. Building into the ground often helps. Building coasters that conform to terrain is something you just have to practice. Try building shorter tracked rides that use the hills to their advantage.
