not only does it take time, its also easier for people who dont invest in stupid shit like monthly subscriptions and try to juggle several media hobbies at once
pick what youre most into, and purely go for that, instantly makes it easier.
Also take time to hunt proper bargains and generally fair prices, dont waste time haggling people, its really not difficult at all if youre patient and pick up techniques.

>all that projection
Yeah, I will admit I got into the game late, my life was so busy then the pandemic hit, and I wondered into a local retro game shop after having given video games up at 19. Anyways, I went through a rediscovery phase of videogames where I just went nuts buying games where ever I found them as if they'd disappear. A few deals, mostly on hardware, never on games alone. Anyways I have a flashcart now, so I've decided I just want complete in box games. I like box art, label art, and sometimes the manuals have nice art. I don't understand collecting gamecube games or basically anything past SNES/game boy era. As Manual art and packaging became GARBAGE. I'm big brain now if I want a game I scour ebay to get that game in the best condition possible.
