Hello, /vr/. Hope you had a Merry Christmas. I am NOT the organizer for /v/'s latest Super Mario World collab hack. Our current baserom includes the Cancer Lord fight and various level edits. The organizer plans to release a new baserom by the end of the year, and that it will include the last major bosses and the reworked puzzle. You can use this thread and the testing doc to discuss the current build and the new one when that releases, as well as the last remaining works in progress.

Sounds very good so far, although I feel like there is some instrument missing at 0:36 so it feels a little empty. I think this was also in the midi, so I can't blame you for that unless you want to make it feel less empty. The rest is amazing.

Cheers, and indeed this is only the very basic skeleton so far. For one it's almost devoid of percussion, which does a lot of work in the song.

I've figured out everything else, and brought the spring to the top and collected the coins, but I don't know what to do next. As you see in pic related, one time I even glitched my way up there with Yoshi, still nothing. I'm about to open it up in Lunar Magic (since I need to add a net in a certain spot anyway), but any clues would be welcome.

1. Get to the top and grab the Yoshi egg and eat the koopas and red berry so he becomes big (you want to go down first to eat the berry and then eat the koopas)
2. Hit the top turn block to make the fire flower fall down
3. Swim up the water by jumping off Yoshi to hit the bottom turn block so the fire flower falls down to the floor
4. Jump off Yoshi and kill yourself by touching the muncher
5. Grab the fire flower and use it to break the ice blocks to get the springboard
6. Grab the springboard and go all the way to the top (where you can see the coins) and place it down
7. Now use Yoshi to eat the green berry and quickly go up
8. Jump on the springboard right before the timer runs out
9. KINO

Enjoy. I've figured this out myself when I was making the testing doc so I'm happy that I still know what the solution is.

Here's another extremely shitty beta version of the paper Moot doll I finally stopped procrastinating on.

I got some better tape too so I'll print it out and put it together to be sure I didn't royally fuck up the mechanics of it. I'm sure to find something that will leave me scratching my head to fix.

After ironing out any bugs i'll upload it and ask Shu to polish it and make it not look like shit, while keeping the proportions of the mechanical joints and the head precisely the same. The arms could be bigger, the tail a bit thinner, and the legs a bit longer though.

Alright guys. Cast is done.
If I have any more time left after coloring in each and every character, i'll see if I can fit in some more bosses or enemies from stages. Sorry if your OC level concept didn't get on the cover. I tried to be as fair as I could with balancing out what got showcased. (Reply to this post with suggestions and places to put them. I'll see what I can do.)
VanDark and Billy are still two characters I want to try fit somewhere. SumoBane too. I just need to figure out where.

Also if anyone has the HD 'SUPER MARIO /V/ORLD: NEW VEGAS' header picture, could you reply that too? If not i'll just go looking in the /v/ and /vr/ archives for it.

I'm most likely not going to show the progress of colouring since its pretty basic.
However before I color. I need to draw /tv/ and Cancer.

The game is still functioning normally. Basically, it's like that because the goal orb was not originally intended to be used alongside those sprites. The sprite uses a specific spot in the sprite graphics file the level uses so it can draw the goal orb, but the proper goal orb graphics aren't there and in its spot is the Xbox skull, so it draws that instead. Look at pic related to see what I mean, where the bottom one is from a level that uses the proper goal orb graphics in its spot (yes it's flipped). Someone can probably fix this by copypasting the proper graphics in its place in the file, but I think we should leave it like that for maximum soul.
